The 8th May will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, the end of the Second World War in Europe.
To help honour and remember Plymouth’s wartime generation, and as a celebration of VE Day, I am running a drawing competition for young people in our city.
To take part, draw a poster with the theme ‘VE Day in Plymouth’, display it in your window and send me a photo. I will judge the entries and award a prize from the Parliament gift shop to my favourite.
Anyone living or studying in Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, aged 18 or under, is welcome to take part. Please send me a photo of your poster to [email protected] by 23rd April.
