Plymouth will be thinking of the people we lost and those forever changed by the tragedy four years ago today.

It was a wake up call to the dangers of guns and toxic culture online. It was also a moment that brought our community together and I remain deeply proud of the way we all stood strong at a moment of loss then and every day since.

I remain committed to lobbying for stronger gun laws. We have seen many improvements since the Keyham tragedy but there remains more to do. I am meeting the Policing Minister again soon to keep pressing the case, on behalf of our city, for stronger gun laws so a tragedy like this can never happen again.
