Helping care leavers in Plymouth is a cause close to my heart.
It was great to attend a roundtable with care leavers organised by Cllr Alison Simpson, Plymouth City Council’s care leaver champion.
We spoke about these folks’ experiences both in care and when they left care, including housing and employment, and how local and national government can best support them. Thank you all for your time, and the King’s Trust for joining.
