I have been proud to support plans for a new Community Diagnostics Centre right in the heart of Plymouth city centre. I am delighted that construction for the centre is now underway at Colin Campbell Court and I visited the site earlier today with Cllr Mark Lowry.
The new facility is expected to offer more than 91,000 imaging test appointments a year, such as MRIs, ultrasounds and X-rays. For years I’ve been campaigning for a health village in the city centre and the diagnostics centre is a huge boost for Plymouth’s health services.
