Today I joined Conservative MP Kevin Foster at Plainmoor to support Torquay United. After only one win in their last 15 games this was a must win game, and they did so in style winning 4-1.
Only a few weeks away from the General Election, Kevin and I are arguing for very different outcomes, but we both know Devon needs three proper football clubs. That’s why as an Argyle fan I backed Torquay today.
Football matters to Plymouth. Torquay United supported Argyle when we needed help, now it’s time to return the favour.
In a fortnight’s time, I’m encouraging Argyle and Exeter City supporters to head to Plainmoor to show Devon is united in wanting them to have a new future.
