I’m genuinely disgusted at Liz Truss giving out rewards for failure.

Liz Truss got eleven of her cronies rewarded in her resignation honours list. Published at the same time as the New Year Honours, it feels like a deliberate attempt to hide this rotten list of failure.

This list is proof positive of Rishi Sunak’s weakness – he should have stopped this list from going forwards – and a slap in the face to working people who are still paying the price of the Tories crashing the economy.

Honours should be for those committed to public service, not rewards for Tory failure.

Liz Truss gave out an honour for roughly every four days she was in office. What a ridiculous situation. Another reason to vote the Conservatives out in 2024.
