Today I had the privilege of unveiling Plymouth’s Covid Memorial Quilt, remembering those we lost during the pandemic as well as they key workers who kept our city running.
Dozens of local people got stitching after I put out a request for quilt patches last year, from individuals to sports clubs to school pupils to those in retirement. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has sent in their fantastic squares.
